Sales Manager | BMW of Bakersfield


As a BMW of Bakersfield Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of the automotive industry, promoting our largest ever model range, working with technologies that make motoring a sophistication and sustainable mobility a reality.  In leading an experienced sales team of Client Advisors, you will be part of a growing business and working with leading industry professionals.

Purpose

  • Directs day-to-day vehicle sales activities of the center.
  • Offers and ensures the highest level of customer service.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Plans, monitors and achieves BMW of Bakersfield vehicle sales targets and strategies.
  • Ability to manage a deal for gross and volume.
  • Recruits, trains, coaches and manages a team of experienced, as well as untested Client Advisors.
  • Sets clear expectations and objectives for the sales team.
  • Supports BMW Client Advisors in the building of strong, long-term client relationships. 
  • Ensures mandatory use of the Company CRM system, ELEAD ONE.
  • Works with and supports the Business Development Center (BDC) specialists daily.
  • Ensures the sales process is followed properly with complete transparency, honesty and integrity. In addition to leading a team of people who share your values and inspiring them to meet and exceed their customers' expectations everyday; you will receive on-going training and career development opportunities aligned with your personal goals and aspirations.


Requirements

  •     5 + years of automotive sales management experience.
  •     Self-driven and motivated to achieve team oriented results.

Finance and Insurance Manager | BMW of Bakersfield

Purpose

  • The Finance and Insurance Manager is responsible for producing additional revenue for BMW of Bakersfield by selling finance and insurance products to new and used car customers; while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Sell financing and other finance and insurance products to customers.
  • Sell Extended Warranties and all other after-market items.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, BMW FS, local banking institutions, credit unions and otherwise.
  • Submit completed paperwork and obtain approval from finance sources on all auto loans.
  • Work with Sales Manager daily to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Handle all rate quotes.
  • Check and complete all required paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.
  • Establish and meet monthly F&I objectives.
  • The F&I Manager must verify insurance with customers' agents, obtain deposits, and verify trade payoffs.
  • Must follow all company policies and procedures and immediately report any financial discrepancies to Sales Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications

  • F&I experience at a BMW Center or equivalent highline automotive brand.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
  • Knowledge of automotive dealership finance and insurance procedures.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe and effective manner.

Service Advisor | BMW of Bakersfield

  • The Service Advisor is responsible for selling, identifying, documenting service, maintenance and repair work for BMW of Bakersfield customers. In addition, the SA is responsible for scheduling service to be performed and maintaining customers long-term.

Primary Responsibilities

  •     Works with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
  •     Performs road test of customer vehicles.
  •     Advises customers on necessary/suggested services.
  •     Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
  •     Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
  •     Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
  •     Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
  •     Schedules appointments with customer.
  •     Maintains Customer Satisfaction scores at or above designated BMW standards.
  •     Meets dealership's standards for repair/order production.
  •     Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

The BMW Genius is responsible for delivering comprehensive product information throughout the sales process.  BMW of Bakersfield is seeking an individual with creativity to provide "world class" customer service. 

In the role of BMW Product Genius you'll be the figurehead of BMW's 'Modern Retailing' initiative.  As a product expert, you will promote our largest ever model range and transfer your enthusiasm for the BMW brand to our customers.  By providing exceptional customer service you will strengthen our customers' trust in the BMW brand.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports the Business Development Center, Client Advisor, Sales Manager and Financial Services Manager in product related tasks and activities.
  • Provides extensive and customer oriented product experience and explains complex product features based on customers' actual needs.
  • Provides transparent product information to Genius community, Client Advisors and Contact Information Centers.
  • Improves the quality of the sales process and customer satisfaction fully explains vehicle features, application and benefits.
  • Maintains constant communication with the designated sales personnel at the dealership on vehicle delivery and any scheduling changes.
  • Arrives to scheduled appointments in a timely manner and maintains communication with clients regarding any changes to scheduled time.
  • Acquires and maintains total product knowledge on all vehicles and understands competitors vehicle features, benefits and perhaps shortcomings.
  • Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories and their benefits to clients.
  • Achieves client satisfaction objectives as assigned by management.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learning the BMW technology and responsible for explaining all features to customers at time of delivery.
  • Demonstrates passion about our brand and products.
  • Assist in other areas of the sales department, BDC and performs other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Continually learn about product updates, features, accessories and their benefits to the customer.
  • Attend required BMW training sessions required.

Requirements

  • MUST be technologically savvy (iPad and other mobile device applications) - BMW sales experience is a plus.
