Prepare to embrace the enticing feeling of the 2021 BMW X1 in Bakersfield, California. This versatile and compact Sports Activity Vehicle® takes the ultimate driving experience and elevates it to a whole new level of performance and comfort. If you don’t believe us, continue reading to see how it overshadows the Lexus UX Series.

Release the Power Within

Release the power within as you hit every road and conquer every turn in the X1. The powerful 2.0 turbo four-cylinder engine produces 228 horsepower versus the UX Series’ 169, and 107 pounds per foot more torque as well. This power is matched with its near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution making every performance comfortable and precise. All of this power and agility is more easily handled with the X1, as its wheelbase is 1.2 inches shorter than on the UX Series. This adjustment will also provide a smoother ride, so you don’t feel jarred when experiencing all that the X1 can offer. In the chart below, you can easily see just how much faster the BMW X1 is compared to the Lexus UX Series:

Incredible Stability and Comfort to Match

While accelerating, you won’t feel any jolts as the X1 increases speed due to the launch control system that utilizes engine electronics to hold the engine RPM’s steady. This provides you with a stable and rapid acceleration while using all available traction, so there’s no skidding or tire screeching. The UX Series, unfortunately, doesn’t offer a launch control system.

Slipping inside the X1’s cockpit, your body immediately sinks into the soft Dakota leather upholstery, and as the driver, the elevated seating position provides you with a clear vantage point for excellent visibility. As the rest of the cabin fills, your passengers will notice the spacious layout as it hosts 101.2 cubic feet of passenger volume versus the UX Series’ 90.4 cubic feet. All of this excess head, leg, hip, and shoulder room enhances passenger comfort, along with available reclining rear seats. The UX Series’ rear seats aren’t capable of reclining, so those passengers will have to settle with leaning against the door for rest.

Convenient Features

Other convenient features to enjoy include rain-sensitive wipers that automatically adjust their speed and turn on or off and an optional Parking Assistant that can parallel park the X1 without driver interference.
